Eszter Zelenka

Eszter Zelenka is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Netherlandic Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Károli Gáspár Reformed University. She previously served as a Teaching Assistant at ELTE and as an Examiner at Rigó Street Language Examination Center. Her academic background includes an MA in English Studies (1989) and Dutch Studies (1991) from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), and an Absolutorium in Language Pedagogy from ELTE's Doctoral School (2002).

Her research centers on Dutch language and culture, intercultural communication, teacher training, and language acquisition. She has delivered guest lectures internationally, including at Radboud University Nijmegen and Driestar University Gouda. Her publications focus on pedagogical strategies for teaching Dutch culture to Hungarian students and cross-cultural perceptions in academia.

Zelenka holds C2 proficiency in Dutch and English and B2 in French. She is a member of the Internationale Vereniging voor Neerlandici, Via Neerlandica, and the Comenius Association. No awards, grants, or supervised students are documented.
