Esther Pomares Cintas is a University Professor at the University of Jaén, affiliated with the Department of Criminal Law, Philosophy of Law, Moral Philosophy and Philosophy. Her research focuses on criminal law, criminology, and legal philosophy, with particular emphasis on democracy and fundamental rights.
She earned her PhD in 2001 from the University of Jaén, completing a thesis titled The relevance of justification in reckless crimes, supervised by Dr. Guillermo Portilla Contreras.
