Esteve Fabregas Martinez

Esteve Fabregas Martinez is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences (UAB, 1989) and has been actively involved in academic roles since 1985. His research focuses on advanced sensor technologies, biorefinery processes, and sustainable chemical engineering, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to environmental protection and innovation.

Key projects include developing biosensors for environmental and biomedical applications, optimizing bio-oil conversion from biomass, and advancing forest management through biorefinery techniques.
