Ester Mariucci

Ester Mariucci is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ) since September 2020. Her research spans applied probability, mathematical statistics, and Bayesian statistics, with applications in climatology and ecology. She leads the Mathematics and Statistical Learning (Math&AS) master's program at Université Paris-Saclay and teaches courses in non-parametric statistics, Bayesian statistics, and stochastic processes.

Her research focuses on uncertainty quantification, complexity reduction in statistical models, and the intersection of stochastic processes with real-world applications. Her teaching emphasizes bridging theoretical foundations with practical tools for both academic and industry paths.
