Ester Lopez Garcia

Ester Lopez Garcia is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS) at the University of Queensland. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Valencia, Spain, and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and Environment from the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC), Barcelona.

• Focuses on analytical methodologies for illicit drugs and psychoactive substances in environmental matrices
• Contributed to the Spanish Network of Wastewater Based Epidemiology (ESAR-NET)
• Current research: Indoor chemical exposure using target/non-target mass spectrometry

Key Projects include NHMRC-funded studies on PFAS biotransformation and ARC-supported initiatives for healthier indoor environments in Europe.
