Esteban Serrano Llamas

Esteban Serrano Llamas is a Full Professor at the University of León, affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering and Automation. His research focuses on intelligent energy management systems, particularly in the context of renewable energy integration and decarbonization of electricity systems.

Education:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of León (2017), thesis: Contributions to justify renewable supply in the Spanish electricity system and achieve a highly decarbonized energy model, supervised by Dr. José Luis Falagán Cavero

Research Interests: His work spans renewable energy systems, sustainable energy modeling, power grid decarbonization, and automation in electrical engineering. He is part of the GISIGE research group dedicated to Intelligent Energy Management Systems.
