Esra Barlas Yucel

Esra Barlas Yucel is a Research Fellow in the Department of Physics at the College of Science, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is currently based at Fermilab (Batavia, IL) as a Postdoctoral Associate working on the Muon g-2 and DUNE experiments in Experimental Particle Physics.

Dr. Barlas Yucel actively contributes to the Muon g-2 experiment, which measures the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon to test the Standard Model, and the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE), investigating neutrino oscillations and properties. Her work at Fermilab advances precision measurements in high-energy physics and searches for new physics phenomena beyond current theoretical frameworks.
