Erwin W. Hans is a Full Professor at the University of Twente, affiliated with the TechMed Centre and the Department of Industrial Engineering & Business Information Systems. He co-founded the Center for Healthcare Operations Improvement & Research (CHOIR) and specializes in healthcare operations management, focusing on capacity management, planning, and scheduling. He lectures in graduate and undergraduate programs and contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG4: Quality Education).
