Dr. Erwin R. Tiongson is a Professor of the Practice and Deputy Director at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, where he also chairs the International Development concentration. He holds affiliations with ISIM and previously served as a Senior Economist at the World Bank, focusing on Latin America and Europe/Central Asia regions. His work spans over 15 countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the Philippines. With degrees from institutions like The George Washington University and Georgetown University, his expertise includes migration economics, labor markets, and development policy.
Dr. Tiongson’s research emphasizes migration's socio-economic impacts, household welfare during crises, and policy interventions for equitable development.
