Erwan Le Roux

Erwan Le Roux is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Bergen. His research focuses on organometallic compounds, catalysis, and sustainable materials. Key interests include CO2 conversion into polymers, activation of small molecules, and development of novel catalysts using non-endangered transition metals. His work involves creating hybrid materials for industrial applications and medical imaging (PET chemistry).

Recent projects include silica-grafted neodymium catalysts for high molecular weight polymers and titanium-based catalysts for CO2 copolymerization with epoxides. His research is funded by the Research Council of Norway and German Science Foundation.
