Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erol Gürsoy serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Koç University Hospital, Koç University, holding this position since 2023 after initially joining as a Specialist in 2019. With extensive clinical experience spanning military medical service (2009-2012) and leadership in establishing interventional cardiology infrastructure, he has performed over 15,000 diagnostic coronary angiograms and 5,000+ interventional procedures including coronary/peripheral stenting, TAVI, and structural heart interventions at Turkey's leading academic medical center.
