Research Interests
Dr. Kleinert specializes in classical algebraic number theory, particularly class field theory and generalized ideal class groups. His work connects to the Langlands program, exploring reciprocity laws and Galois theory in number fields. He also investigates the philosophical foundations of mathematics.
Teaching
In Sommersemester 2025, he will teach Klassenkörpertheorie (Class Field Theory), covering Artin's reciprocity law, Frobenius automorphisms, and Hilbert class fields. In Wintersemester 2021/22, he offered an introduction to algebraic number theory, focusing on Dedekind rings, discriminants, and Dirichlet's unit theorem.
