Assoc. Prof. Erman Pektok is a cardiovascular surgeon at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1998 and completed specialist training at Ege University between 1999-2005, focusing on heart transplantation and stem cell-based heart repair. After working at Geneva University (2005-2009) and Yeditepe University (2009-2010), he joined Istanbul Science University before moving to Bursa Uludağ University in 2018. He has contributed to establishing Turkey’s Heart Transplantation and Artificial Heart Centers and worked in cryopreservation laboratories.
