Erlyana Erlyana

Erlyana Erlyana is a Professor in the Department of Health Care Management at the College of Health & Human Services, California State University, Long Beach. She transitioned from a clinical career, working as a physician for over seven years, to academia in 2009 as a tenure-track faculty member.

• Education: MD from University of Atmajaya (Indonesia), Ph.D. in Public Administration with Health Service Administration concentration from University of Southern California.

Research Focus: Her work examines systemic healthcare challenges, including equity in access to care, social determinants of health outcomes, disparities in utilization, and comparative analysis of managed care models across global contexts.
