Erin Winterrowd serves as Associate Professor of Psychology and Director of the Women's and Gender Studies Program at Regis College, integrating Jesuit principles of cura (care) with feminist praxis to drive community transformation through her academic work.
Her educational background includes:
- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Willamette University
- PhD in Counseling Psychology with Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies from Colorado State University
Research centers on systemic inequities in STEM education through local women's experiences and the intersection of gendered cultural norms with suicidality/self-harm across the lifespan. She actively bridges clinical psychology research and community practice via workshops and interventions that translate academic findings into tangible social change.
Teaching courses including Abnormal Psychology, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Research Methods, and Psychology of Gender, she challenges students to critically engage with existing knowledge while envisioning transformative possibilities for the future.
