Erin Morelli is the Associate Dean of Student Life and Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at the Yale School of Nursing. She holds a BSN from Quinnipiac University (2002), an MSN in Nurse-Midwifery from Yale University (2002), and is currently pursuing a PhD in nursing education at the University of Northern Colorado. She is a Certified Nurse-Midwife (AMCB, 2002) and a Fellow of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
Her research focuses on health policy education in nursing programs and interprofessional collaboration. She has co-authored studies on midwifery care practices and collaborative frameworks in obstetrics. Clinically, she practices at Yale’s Vidone Birthing Center and in Westport/New Haven. Her work emphasizes improving maternal health outcomes through evidence-based midwifery practices.
Awards: Fuld Fellowship, White House Internship.
