Erin Miller

Erin E. Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Allied and Population Health and Interim Director of the Community Practice Innovation Center (CPIC) at South Dakota State University (SDSU). She holds a Pharm.D. and an MBA from North Dakota State University. Her career spans academic leadership, clinical informatics, and healthcare technology integration. Dr. Miller teaches courses in healthcare systems, public health, and professional resources management, and advises Master of Public Health (MPH) students. She leads initiatives addressing substance use disorders, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease in rural populations through grants like the HRSA Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) and CDC-funded programs. Her research emphasizes implementation science and healthcare leadership.
