Erin Crowly-Champoux

Erin Crowly-Champoux holds a Ph.D. in Anthropological Archaeology from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in History from Bates College. She is affiliated with the Department of Geography-Anthropology at the University of Southern Maine (Gorham campus, Bailey Hall Room 300D) and conducts research in faunal analysis, foodways archaeology, and the intersection of community development with agricultural and political economies. Her work spans projects in Ireland, the Eastern and Midwestern United States, and Peru, with a focus on the evolution of dairying economies in Late Iron Age to Early Medieval Ireland.
