Erin Buckley

Erin Buckley is an Associate Professor at the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering within the College of Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Her lab focuses on advancing non-invasive diffuse optical techniques for bedside monitoring of hemodynamics in the brain and other tissues.

• Research Interests: Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Optics, Cerebral Hemodynamics, Non-invasive Monitoring, Medical Imaging

Recent Publications: A 2023 study in Biomedical Optics Express established the feasibility of Broadband Absorption Spectroscopy (BAS) for cerebral water content measurement.
