Erin Beeghly

Erin Beeghly is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Utah. Her research intersects ethics, epistemology, feminist philosophy, and moral psychology, with a focus on implicit bias, stereotyping, and discrimination theory. She is the author of What's Wrong With Stereotyping? (Oxford 2025) and co-editor of An Introduction to Implicit Bias (Routledge 2020).

Additional Experience: A former gemologist with 15+ years in the jewelry industry, including Lang Antiques in San Francisco. She holds a Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (1998).
