Erin Beck is an Associate Professor at the University of Oregon, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Political Science, and the Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies (CLLAS). - Latin American Politics: Analyzing political systems, governance, and policy in Latin America.
- Development: Investigating economic, social, and political development dynamics.
- Gender: Studying gender roles, equity, and their intersection with politics and development.
- NGOs: Examining the role of non-governmental organizations in development and collective action.
- Microfinance: Assessing microfinance initiatives and their impact on marginalized communities.
- Collective Action: Exploring grassroots movements and community-driven political engagement.
Advising & Affiliations
Erin Beck offers office hours via Zoom during Spring 2025 (Wednesdays 9:30 AM–12:30 PM) and is affiliated with the Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies (CLLAS) and the Latin American Studies program. She contributes to interdisciplinary research and advising within the College of Arts and Sciences.
