Erin B. Seery

Dr. Erin B. Seery serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Medicine. Board-certified in psychiatry, she provides acute psychiatric services in the emergency department for both adult and pediatric patients while supervising in the general adult psychiatry clinic.

Her educational background includes:

• Medical degree from University of Maryland Medical School
• Psychiatric residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at MUSC
• Four-year psychoanalytic training at Austen Riggs Center (Stockbridge, MA)

Dr. Seery specializes in trauma, psychosis, personality disorders, treatment resistance, and psychotherapy.
