Erika Kadowaki Borgen is a Senior Lecturer in Japanese Studies at the University of Oslo. Her work focuses on Japanese language, literature, and cultural analysis within the College of Japanese Studies. She is based in Oslo, with visiting and postal addresses provided at Niels Henrik Abels vei 36 and PO Box 1010 Blindern, respectively.
Academic Interests include Japanese language pedagogy, literary traditions, and cultural studies. She teaches courses linked to Japan Studies and maintains a tenured position at the institution.
Students include Wade Cleveland, who authored the dissertation How is Design Thinking Applied in Practice?
