معرفی
Erik Stensrud Marstein is a Professor II at the Energy Systems Section of the Institute for Technology Systems (UiO), with a dual role as Research Leader and Deputy Head of Department at the Department of Solar Energy, IFE. He has served as Director of the Norwegian Research Centre for Solar Cell Technology since its founding in 2009 and holds a Dr. Scient. in Physics from the University of Oslo (2003).
Research Interests:
- Solar cell technology and photovoltaic systems.
- Hybrid renewable energy systems (solar-wind, solar-hydro).
- Material science for solar cell degradation and stability.
- Energy system optimization and grid integration.
- Thermal imaging and defect analysis in PV systems.
Publications: His work focuses on photovoltaic modeling (e.g., bifacial gain, soiling loss), hybrid energy systems, material stability, and thermography applications. Recent studies include techno-economic feasibility of floating PV and forecast-driven energy market strategies.
Teams & Labs: He leads the Norwegian Research Centre for Solar Cell Technology and collaborates with the Energy Systems Section at UiO/IFE. His research integrates experimental and computational approaches.
