Erik Pelzer is a researcher at the Department of Ancient History at the University of Bonn. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations at Helmut-Schmidt-Universität Hamburg, while actively contributing to academic research on Roman provincialization, state treaties, and cultural practices in Roman society.

His research focuses on Roman provincialization in Germania, the sacredness of Roman state treaties, and the role of dice games in Roman culture. Pelzer has presented lectures on these topics at international conferences in Bonn and Graz.
Pelzer's publications include analyses of Roman military campaigns in Germania and the ideological frameworks of peace agreements during the Roman Republic. His work intersects with themes of political history, military strategy, and cultural symbolism.
