Erik M. Bobeda

Erik M. Bobeda, M.D., is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Medicine (Hospital Medicine). He completed his medical degree and residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Bobeda works full-time as a hospitalist on Inpatient Medicine in Psychiatry (Unit 1-9200) at Strong Memorial Hospital, focusing on the interplay between somatic and psychiatric illnesses.

His clinical expertise includes managing complex cases in Med-Psych Units and Complexity Intervention Units, bridging internal medicine and psychiatric care. He is part of the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group (URMFG), a network of over 900 specialists certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
