Erik Katovich is an Assistant Professor of Environmental and Resource Economics at the University of Connecticut, within the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2022), an MS from the same institution (2020), and a BS from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities (2015). His research focuses on environmental and resource economics, development economics, and political economy, with a particular emphasis on natural resource governance, energy transitions, and labor market dynamics in resource-dependent regions.
