Erik Jurjen Duintjer Tebbens is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry at Charles University's Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové. He holds dual academic appointments, also serving as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Computer Science, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic since 2004.
His research spans numerical mathematics with pharmaceutical applications, specializing in matrix computations and mathematical modeling. His work bridges computational mathematics with pharmaceutical sciences, focusing on numerical linear algebra applications in pharmacometrics and systems pharmacy.
Dr. Duintjer Tebbens received his PhD from Charles University's Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in 2004 (Computer Science - Numerical Linear Algebra) and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2017. He has taught courses in Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Computer Technology, and Matrix Computations in Statistics since 2013.
