Erick C. Jones Jr. is an Assistant Professor in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering Department at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), affiliated with the Resource and Energy Engineering program. His research focuses on the Sustainable and Efficient Allocation of Resources (SEAR Lab), addressing energy systems, infrastructure, and supply chains through analytical methods like mathematical optimization, simulation, and AI/ML. He holds a PhD in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from UT Austin and has industry experience in oil and gas and HVAC sectors.
