Erich Fox Tree is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Religion and Culture at Wilfrid Laurier University's Faculty of Arts. His research focuses on colonial mythologies about Indigenous peoples, Native American social and religious activism, Mesoamerican cultural and linguistic history, political ecology of language, Barbology, and Indigenous Sign Language.
