Erica Srinivasan

Erica Srinivasan is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her research focuses on developmental psychology, gerontology, thanatology, qualitative methods, and applied community programming. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University and a B.A. in Psychology and French from Otterbein College. Her work examines grief dynamics in contexts like medical aid-in-dying, pandemic impacts, and caregiving relationships. Notable contributions include analyzing grief differences between assisted death and suicide, and developing pedagogical tools for death education.
