Erica Marti is an Associate Professor in UNLV's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, specializing in water quality engineering and sustainable treatment technologies.
Research Areas: Her lab investigates disinfection byproduct formation, emerging contaminants, and adsorption processes using carbon-based materials from agricultural waste. Recent work explores haloacetonitrile precursors and lanthanide coagulants.
Education Outreach: Leads K-12 STEM programs including Tech Trekker and SISTEM to promote engineering careers and design thinking among students.
