Erica Blumenstock is an Assistant Professor and Program Director at the Department of Nursing, Southern Illinois University, School of Health Professions. With a career spanning over two decades, she has worked in diverse healthcare settings including acute care, maternal/newborn nursing, pediatrics, public health, and home health/hospice. Her academic credentials include a BSN from Barnes College, MSN from the University of Southern Indiana, and DNP from McKendree University.
Dr. Blumenstock has served as faculty at both rural community colleges and national online universities, emphasizing student engagement and critical thinking in clinical education. Her current role focuses on directing nursing programs and preparing students for clinical excellence.
