Eric Werner, MA, is a researcher at the University of Hamburg's Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC) since 2019. He is affiliated with the Department of Asian and African Studies and has been actively involved in teaching since 2015. His work focuses on the application of artificial intelligence and digital twins to 3D data analysis, particularly in the context of manuscript studies. He organized the 2022 workshop And Now in 3D: On AI and Digital Twins and Their Application on 3D Data, collaborating with Prof. Dr. Stephan Seifert.
