Eric Sample is a Professor in the Division of Communication & Creative Media at Champlain College. He teaches courses such as Fundamentals of Music, Film Scoring, and Synthesis & Sound Design, and oversees the college's recording studio. His expertise includes the music of the African diaspora, jazz arrangement, and music technology. He recently completed a global sabbatical researching diasporic music traditions in Cuba, Brazil, Kenya, Ghana, Gambia, and Senegal.
