Eric Maire

Eric Maire is a Professor of Materials Science at INSA Lyon, affiliated with the MATEIS laboratory (CNRS UMR5510). His research focuses on advanced materials characterization using X-ray tomography, with emphasis on microstructure analysis, fracture mechanics, and computational modeling. He has pioneered techniques for in situ experimentation and 3D imaging of materials under mechanical loading.
