Eric Herbert

Eric Herbert is a Research Professor at the University of Paris, where he joined in 2013 as part of the LIED laboratory (Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Energies de Demain). As a physicist working at the intersection of multiple disciplines, he collaborates with experts in humanities and biology to address energy transition challenges through thermodynamic frameworks.

Herbert's research centers on energy optimization through finite-time thermodynamics applied to generalized energy conversion systems.
