Eric Chicken

Eric Chicken is a Professor in the Department of Statistics at Florida State University (FSU), where he has held roles including Assistant Professor (2002-2008) and Associate Professor (2008-2014). His expertise lies in statistical process control and nonparametric statistics. He earned a PhD in Statistics from Purdue University, an MS in Mathematical Statistics from Purdue, an MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin.

• Awarded the Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Statistical Association (ASA) in 2024.
• Recognized as an ASA Fellow in 2015 and held fellowships at Oak Ridge Institute and the Institute for Defense Analyses.
