Eric C. van Berkum is a Full Professor at the Digital Society Institute and Transport Engineering and Management. His research spans Artificial Intelligence, Mobility and Transport, and Intelligent Transport Systems, with a focus on optimizing traffic networks, public transport efficiency, and railway maintenance scheduling.
