Erez Shochat is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Mathematics Department at St. Francis College. He also serves as the Faculty Athletics Representative. His research focuses on Mathematical Logic, particularly Model Theory. Dr. Shochat holds a B.S. from St. Francis College (1997), an M.Phil., and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the CUNY Graduate Center (2006). He joined St. Francis College in 2002 after teaching at Medgar Evers College for four years.

Prior to his current role, he was a Mathematics Instructor at Medgar Evers College. He was a co-captain of St. Francis College's soccer team and remains active in campus athletics.
