Ephraim Agyingi

Ephraim Agyingi is a Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the College of Science, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He holds a BS and MS from the University of Ilorin (Nigeria) and a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester (UK). His research focuses on Mathematical Biology, Mathematical Modeling, Dynamical Systems, and Numerical Analysis, with notable work on infectious disease models (e.g., Leishmaniasis and Malaria) and biomedical applications like tumor detection and wound healing.

His recent research emphasizes computational models for biological systems, including thermal analysis of melanoma and fluid dynamics in spinal discs. He actively presents at conferences such as the Biology and Medicine Through Mathematics (BAMM) symposium and the International Conference on Mathematical Modeling and Analysis of Populations in Biological Systems. Agyingi teaches courses including Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, and Mathematical Biology, and mentors students in applied mathematical research.
