Enrique W. Neblett, Jr. is a Professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Equity at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He serves as Director of the Detroit Community-Academic Urban Research Center and integrates psychology, biology, and public health in his research on racism-related stress and its impact on African American youth.

His research explores how racial discrimination, internalized racism, and impostor feelings affect mental and physical health, with a focus on protective factors like racial identity and family socialization.
