Enrico Guarini is an Adjunct Professor at the SDA Bocconi School of Management, where he focuses on Public Management, Budgeting, and Governance. He also holds an Associate Professor position in Business Administration and Management at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
- Education: MSc and Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from Università Bocconi
His research spans public budgeting, financial management, management accounting, and local governance through projects and publications in journals like Public Money & Management and Financial Accountability & Management. Recent work explores SDG localization, ethical financial reporting, and smart working reforms in public administration.
He serves as Co-chair of the Special Interest Group on Local Governance at the International Society for Public Management (IRSPM) and is on the Scientific Board of the Azienda Pubblica journal and Palgrave's Book Series on Public Sector Financial Management. He has directed numerous executive education programs for Italian public administrations.
