Enise Kapusuz

Enise Kapusuz is a Researcher at the Department of History, European University Institute. She specializes in the cultural practices of upper and middle-class Muslim women in Ottoman Istanbul (1860s–1923), focusing on modernization processes. Her research is supervised by Giancarlo Casale (EUI) and Ahmet Ersoy (external), with Laura Downs as a second reader.
