Enes Erdin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). His research focuses on cybersecurity, IoT security, blockchain technology, and secure protocol design. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Florida International University (2023), and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey). His work emphasizes secure micro-payment systems for IoT devices using blockchain and Lightning Network technologies, alongside evaluating privacy risks in cryptocurrency networks.
Research interests include IoT Security, Cyber-physical System Security, PKI & Key Distribution, and Blockchain Applications. His publications explore topics such as threshold cryptography for IoT micro-payments, covert botnet detection in Lightning Networks, and optimizing transaction success rates in payment channel networks. He maintains an active research agenda in decentralized systems and their security implications.
