Enda Bates is an Assistant Professor and deputy director of the Music and Media Technologies programme at Trinity College Dublin (TCD). He holds a PhD in 'The Composition & Performance of Spatial Music' and has expertise in spatial audio, electroacoustic music aesthetics, and augmented instruments. His roles include researcher, educator, composer, and performer. He co-chaired the 146th AES Convention in Dublin, earning the AES Board of Governors Award in 2020.
