Emre Çulha currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Gaziantep University, within the Department of Clinical Sciences. He holds a dental license from Selçuk University (2002) and completed his specialization in Endodontics at Gaziantep University (2015). His academic career spans roles as a Research Assistant (2012-2015) and Doctor Lecturer (2022-present).
Research Interests: Dr. Çulha focuses on endodontics, dental trauma, and root canal treatment complications. His work leverages cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) for analyzing anatomical variations, biofilm removal techniques, and extrusion of filling materials. Recent studies include forensic evaluations of maxillofacial trauma, age-group-specific canal anomalies, and technological advancements in apex detection.
Academic Contributions: He has supervised the thesis of Muazzez Naz Baştürk (2025) and co-authored 18 peer-reviewed articles, with 15 of the most recent emphasizing CBCT applications and instrumentation fatigue resistance. His projects include evaluating laser efficacy in calcium hydroxide removal and microsurgery techniques in endodontic procedures.
Administrative Roles: Dr. Çulha contributes to institutional quality control as a member of Gaziantep University’s Specialization Education Committee (2024) and Quality Committees (2022). He also participates in organizing international dental congresses.
