Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah ZERDALI is an Associate Professor at Ege University's Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Faculty of Engineering) and concurrently serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Nottingham's Power Electronics and Machines Center. His expertise lies in electrical machines and drives, model predictive control, fault-tolerant systems, and sensorless control techniques. He holds a BS from Pamukkale University (2009) and MS/PhD degrees from Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (2011/2016).
Zerdali's research focuses on advanced control strategies for electrical drives, including predictive torque control, Kalman filter-based state estimation, and optimization of energy conversion systems.
