Emmanuelle Peraldo is a Professor of British Literature at Université Côte d'Azur, specializing in 18th-century British literature, travel writing, and epistemology of literature. She directs the Transdisciplinary Center for Epistemology of Literature and the Performing Arts (CTELA) and previously held academic positions at Lyon 3, Saint-Etienne, and Versailles-Saint-Quentin. Her research focuses on Daniel Defoe, spatial representation, and intersections of literature with geography and ecocriticism.

Awards include Mention Très Honorable avec Félicitations du Jury for her doctoral thesis and election to the COSP committee.
