Emmanouil N. Anagnostou is Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor and Eversource Energy Endowed Chair in Environmental Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He directs the Eversource Energy Center and serves as Applied Research Director for the Connecticut Institute for Resilience and Climate Adaptation.
Research focuses on:
- Satellite/radar precipitation monitoring
- Flood modeling in complex terrain
- Climate resilience infrastructure
- Underwater acoustic observations
Develops predictive models for storm impacts and power grid vulnerabilities.
